During the first week of April our children read books and shared stories.
And remembered Hans Christian Anderson the famous Danish author of children’s stories whose name is remembered on April 2 –his birthday.
Zoya schools libraries are well-stocked with children’s books.
School time is dedicated to read them, and write about what they read.
We have published stories in Urdu of famous authors: Lev Tolstoy, Hemingway, Gogol, Rumi, Chekov.
And in near future will publish more stories such as by Maupassant (The Pearl Necklace), as well Chinese stories and famous stories by national and world authors.
The aim is promote reading. Ensure that our children know about world literature.
