Each year Zoya schools produce a STAR. Last year’s STAR was Hafsa Khan, Pakistan’s Pi champion. This year it is Ayesha Bibi (age 10 years). In a brief drama, to celebrate World Children’s day, she admonishes a villager making children work on Children’s day: ‘You can’t do that. It is World Children’s day today.’ With her colleagues’ help who carry placards of each right printed on them she explains to him and to her audience the importance of each right. And to give children all their rights NOW!
For her performance Ayesha Bibi won a package of story books and cash prize. Every Friday she retells the stories to a rapt audience (of her colleagues and other children)!
