Potable water for 76,773 children (as of July 12, 2025)

Waterborne diseases are 80% of our diseases and cause 33% of deaths in our country*

To address this problem, we have provided potable water to over 76,000 children in 374 government schools and to 115 underprivileged families with children from Zoya schools.

The program is ongoing

The well is dug to a depth of 120 ft and a hand pump is installed for Rs 19,270-Rs 20,770 each
We use the simplest/commonly used technology with the least moving parts, so there is little/no maintenance.

The list of the government schools needing help is given by the District Education Office, which also confirms that the work has been done.

The report on the work done is prepared cumulatively since May 19, 2020, and it is published monthly (the report is prepared in real-time and the latest report is available on request).
The report shows the expense of the tube well, gives its photograph, contact number of school/home where tube well is installed for verification, and endorsement by the Education Office of the work done.

Expense, so far, is about Rs 8.2 million given in 108 donations.
